Every birthday, Christmas, Father's Day, or any other holiday requiring gifts is a struggle for me. Presents for my mom, sister, and girl friendsare bought well in advance simply because I'm always in the women's section of stores. I am drawn to sparkle, bows, and prettiness all around. Yet for men in my life the struggle continues.
What to get for the father who has everything or the brother that has completely different taste from yours? Although I am sure it would pass to get ANOTHER tie or a COUPON to dinner and a movie with moi, it just doesn't seem enough. I tend toward presents that are unique,quirky, personal. My preference is to have that "Oh my gosh, that is so ... (insert giftee's name here)."Something that packs a punch. Or something that they could really use but wouldn't think to buy on their own. My dad's birthday just passed a few weeks ago but Christmas still looms ahead. I have searched the web to get suggestions but there is not much out there besides the typical "coupon book" with its love from the heart or expensive items that extend beyond my budget.
