I did NO crafts in craft month March

I can't wait for the summer. I didn't have time to do even ONE craft in craft month. Ha, ha. I seem to fill my schedule with entirely too many activities and I love it. I just need to organize my time a little better.
Here is my typical evenings during the week:
Monday: FHE at 7:30 (and of course I'm the last socialite to leave EVERY week. I can't help talking)
Tuesday: ESL endorsement class since October, but it just finished, yipee!!
Wednesday: Free night but generally filled with something (movie screening, visiting friends,
Thursday: Oquirrh Mountain Symphony
Friday & Saturday: I'm single. I always find something to do :-)
Sunday: Firesides, Visiting Teaching, Home Teaching, family dinners, friend dinners...

I repeat, I can't wait until summer!!

Anyway, the point I was trying to make is that maybe in April I'll do a craft or two. I do have spring break next week. Yea!!

March is National Craft Month!

Guess what!? Its Nat'l Craft Month. Pretty sure that's the coolest month ever! If only I could take time off of work to do all of the projects that I want to.
Since we are already half way through the month, I am going to really need to push it to get some good crafting. I tend to try to do too much so I am going to focus. I will create 3 crafts in the next 2 weeks. That is my goal. Following are a few of the possibilities. Which would you do?

Paper Dolls:

And so excited to experiment with the ideas in this book.

Rosette Hair Accessory:

My beloved friend Bernice has been crafting up a storm lately. Look at these gorgeous head bands/clips she's created. I never even knew she was so crafty when we were roommies in college.

(I'm going to get a more close-up picture of the hair thing)

Granny Square (but really a Granny 5 sided block):

Embroidery:
I had this idea a while ago, but I often don't know how to execute my plans. Luckily on No Biggie, she had a guest post that taught me step-by-step what to do. Yea!

Just a warning. My projects tend to come out substandard. They don't generally look at all how I imagine and often deformed. There. I said it. I want to be and pretend to be crafty, but alas, I don't think that I am :-) Its still fun!

Some other ideas I want to try in the future:

I Spy Quilt @ Obsessively Stitching blog
Lots of good ideas here and here.
